TPOS requirements Maximising residency time in TP important Favour Iridium and other “rapid” comms/positioning Reseeding rate does not depend on cycle time Short  refresh more often but fewer floats Entry-exit rates (ZL) manageable May need targeted deployment BGC float requirement is additional … but can contribute 14-May-19 TPOS 2020 T&I www.tpos2020.org
