Mrs. Hake’s Friday, March 22nd edition CLASSROOM 2018-2019 news Week in Review: Sneak Peak This week we learned all about farms and what we get from them! In our art center, this week, we painted with tractors and at the science center we sorted seeds. We worked on a paper about where certain foods come from on a farm. We have worked hard on addition and subtraction trying to increase our speed and decrease our dependency on fingers. We loved our “Dirt Made My Lunch” song and writing about where our favorite foods come from. at Next Week Theme of the Week: Camping Vowel friends: lonely i says i like in fish Sci/Social Studies: plants and animals Math: addition Rainbow words: but/each Upcoming Events: March 25th – 29th No School (Spring Break) April 9th & 10th INCOMING Kindergarten Screening April 15th – 19th Parent Lunch Week & Book Fair April 23rd / 24th Aullwood Farms Field Trip Friday, April 26th – Fun Fair Contact info: Kari Hake khake@tippcity.k12.oh.us 937-667-2275

Snacks After Spring Break, we will be running low on snacks. Some of our favorites snacks are: Cheez Its, pretzels, animal crackers, goldfish, and vanilla wafers. Some new ones would be fun to try, too! Thank You!! Spring Break Fun Play the license plate search game on your trip if you drive a long distance. Spot words repeated on signs and billboards such as exit, next, to, and miles. Count the number of red cars, or blue trucks etc. in a given period of time. Write and send a postcard to the class from your destination. Keep a journal of your spring break. Visit the library and find books about spring!
