Cutaneous Angiosarcoma Classification Idiopathic cutaneous angiosarcoma of head & neck Lymphangiosarcoma arising in chronic lymphoedematous limbs Post irradiation angiosarcoma

Cutaneous Angiosarcoma Poorly circumscribed dermal tumours Infiltrate subcutis Multifocal distribution Vascular channels lined by atypical endothelial cells As architectural differentiation decreases, cytological atypia and cell size tend to increase

Cutaneous Angiosarcoma Epithelioid cells may be prominent Tumour cells may stain for CD31, CD34, Factor VIII-related antigen EM may be useful in some cases Distinction between malignant tumours showing blood vessel and lymphatic differentiation is often unclear & controversial
