Flag Mess SEA DUTY SHORE DUTY Flag Mess Afloat to support Carrier Strike Group Commanders, Expeditionary Strike Group Commanders, and the 7th Fleet Embarked crew for CVN, LHA/LHD, and USS BLUERIDGE LOCATIONS: OCONUS and CONUS Flag Mess assignment to support PACOM, PACFLT, CENTCOM, and other Fleet and Regional Commanders. LOCATIONS: OCONUS and CONUS Flag Mess Ashore -Provide Office Calls – assorted bev or snack -Meal service to Flag Officer and authorized staff -Catering events to support Flag Officer or authorized members -If Flag Officer is assigned with Enlisted Aide, Flag Mess CS’s can assist EA for official events hosted by Flag Officer.

PREREQUISITES Highly motivated for assignment and strongly recommended by the current CO Ability to work effectively with senior officers and or executive civilians Free from conviction by court martial, and NJP for the past 3 years Emotionally stable and able to work arduous hours Pass the most recent PFA cycle No evaluation marks below 3.0 for the past 3 years Able to meet required security clearance SEE MILPERSMAN 1306-937 FOR MORE INFO NO PFA Failure for the last 3 years. NO NJP for the last 3 years. NO evaluation marks below 3.0 for last three years
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS POTUS & VPOTUS Support Executive Transport(Aircrew) SF 86 Authorization for Release of Information Interview Sheet SF 86 Questionnaire for National Security Positions Travel to DC for Security and Personnel Interview Apply on 18-12 months window Class ll Swim Qualification Flight Physical NON-Aircrew swim/phys Basic survival training http://www.med.navy.mil/sites/nmotc/nsti/Pages/NASTPOverview.aspx Current command has to pay the travel expenses to DC for the interview. Member that is selected for this duty will be on White House Duty hold until you get approval for YW security clearance. Screening process can take up to over a year. In NATOPS required flight gear including boots, helmet, flight suit and vest student must swim 25yds and stay afloat for two minutes via tread or drown proofing methods.
