Strength and Weakness of the phone case Strengths Can protect the phone when dropped at an angle. Looks good Cheap Grippy and unlikely to fall while holding Still supports wireless charging Overall: It’s okay if you plan to regularly switch. Weaknesses The case is fragile and can only likely drop once. No clip/carabiner to attach it on a bag Depends on the material; might be too slippery Might destroy the form factor of the phone, harming the ergonomics

Suggestions to improve phone cases Existing weaknesses The case is fragile and can only likely drop once. No clip/carabiner to attach it on a bag Depends on the material; might be too slippery Might destroy the form factor of the phone, harming the ergonomics Recommendations Improve the existing materials of the case, eg. using metals instead of plastics/silicone Add a little slot for an optional carabiner for the user to put on by themselves Again, use another material Make the phone case a slimmer form factor, in order to not hinder ergonomics
Group reflection Chryss: I think phone cases are nice for long-term use. Rasheeq: I think phone cases look stylish, even if it wasn’t made by the company who made the phone. Kerby: It’s good for protecting phones. Paul: I think some of the phone cases are too bulky to use comfortably. Lukas: I think skins are the better alternative to phone cases.
