IESS Framework regulation Concerns on input harmonisation Article has today not been dropped by the Council and we do not know the EP viewpoint LAMAS to continue to work on the issue to be prepared TF1 should develop a simplified approach Pilot studies are still on-going so LAMAS discussion will take place in June 2017 Concerns on monthly unemployment Formulation included in the IESS FR not fully satisfactory Italy will make a counterproposal in the Council WP Silvia will inform us of this proposal tomorrow Eurostat

IESS implementing measures Work of the three TFs: Only TF2 met since the June LAMAS meeting (at the end of September) Two meetings of each TFs are planned for 2017, one in Luxembourg and one outside Luxembourg (Athens 24-25/04 for TF1, Rome 27-28/04 for TF2, Warsaw October for TF3) MUR: Training on the Dutch estimation method organised in Heerlen on 16-18 May 2017 Discussion on the implementing measure on MUR is planned for June 2017 Eurostat
