Reason for the Investigation Generally speaking, the real purpose of conducting a research is to gain new knowledge and gather evidence. To know if the shirt is worth buying. To find the right t-shirt for that person who want a good t-shirt.

Are expensive t-shirts worth buying? Investigation topic Are expensive t-shirts worth buying? Drying speed  Comfortable Waste of money or not

Related scientific KNOWLEDGE Fabric Design  Time it  takes to dry  Comfort

T-shirts used School P.E T-shirt ($77) Adidas T-shirt ($220) Nike        T-shirt($230)

The fabrics P.E ( COTTONS, WOOL) ADIDAS (commonly use recycle materials like polyester, rubber, cotton PLA( WOOD PIULP),wool and leather.) NIKES  (cotton ),(made of 100% polyester 150gsm dri fit  mesh fabric)

Scientific knowledge "water evaporation, it takes some of the heat energy from our clothes" "evaporation is a process where liquid dries and turns into water vapor" "when a wet object  dries, it will lose a lot of heat because of evaporation"

stand Experimental setup Hair dyer Water Cup Dropper Test tube clothes

procedures Use 5 /10/15 water drop wet the part of T-shirt Use  10 ml of water to wet the  T-shirt Use stop watch to record the time  Turn on the  heater and start record  Use tissue on it and see which is more dry

Make video on the wet to ”dry T-shirt” Collect evidence Make video on the wet to ”dry  T-shirt”

In the experiment video picture https://youtu.be/lEoQjoqNYH8

record Sport T-shirt Nike 5 drops /time School Pe T-shirt Adidas 6 min 11s 2min 30 s 3min 10drop /time 6min  56s 2min 51s 4min35s 15drop /time 7min 34s 3min 10s  7min10s 10ml/time 12min 53s 9min 14s 11min5s

Conclusions The most comfortable and the most worth buying is Nike. Even though it is the most expensive T-shirt; it is worth the price. It is also the most comfortable to wear because its fabric is very lightweight that means it is easy to move around in.

error of the experiment Unsure if the t-shirts is fully dry. Not accurate enough of the time measurement of the results of the experiment. The heat of hair dryers.  Unsure if the water amount is the same as the others. This Photo by Unknown author is licensed under CC BY-NC.

Corresponding improvement for the experiment The accuracies of our experiment‘s results of the time. To check the t-shirts of the dryness accuracies. an appropriate place to do the experiment. Buy more stop watches and hair dryers to do the experiments.

Reflections Find ways to do the experiment. Get more information about the T-shirt’s . Do the experiment again to get a more accurate results.

Thank You!
