Personality and Stress

Personality: Personality is a product of culture to do different things in different situations.

Personality Different sorts of personalities and individuals are created by a society to do a whole array of things needed by society for smooth operations.

Stress Stress is a situation where there are demands on a person. e.g. social demands, organizational demands, situational demands etc.

Stress At times there is so much demand on the person/on the individual to do few things and the person is not capable enough to do that thing in that situation it occurs that the person starts feeling pressure. If this pressure prolongs it may tranform into stress.

Types of Stress Positive Stress Negative Stress

Types of Stress Positive Stress: If a stress is doing something positive on you, it is called positive stress or U stress.

Types of Stress Negative Stress: If the stress is too much and your personality is unable to cope with that thing because you could not do what was asked for; then that stress will have negative performance.

There is a dynamic relationship between stress and personality.

Stress emerges out of expectations.

You should always make realistic expectations from yourself.

The greater the capacity of an individual to perform, greater the confidence of a person to perform, lesser are the chances of stress.
