Humans of smithson valley October 7th meeting

WHo we are WE FOCUS ON THE INTERACTION BETWEEN PEOPLE AND THEIR ENVIRONMENT BY ALLOWING MEMBERS TO IDENTIFY SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES THAT CONNECT OUR COMMUNITY TO OUR ENVIRONMENT AND ILLUMINATE THE IMPORTANCE OF EVERY PERSON'S ACTIONS. WE ARE SUPER COOL!

Sustainability efforts Recycling Bins for the School! Funds collected from Bake Sale and Go Fund Me We still need money for the bins and liners- any ideas!? Every room needs to have a paper recycling bin so bring us your cardboard boxes

School Garden -A Texas Native garden in front of the rotunda. -We need volunteers to sign up. Gardening will start in mid October. #Aesthetics

*We will need organic, all natural candy donations for these events* Up Coming Events Saturday, 10th volunteering at Bulverde Community Garden starting at 9am. Halloween Trick or Treat event at Guadalupe River State Park! Fall Fest! We need ideas for our booth. Officers? Publicist- In charge of maintaining the Instagram and website. The Instagram requires updates for meetings and a post per club get-together (meetings included). The website requires a blogpost per meeting that summarizes everything that was discussed. Articles written about the club for local newspapers would also be awesome! Records Keeper- Keep track of service hours from members in the club. This requires skills in excel to organize everything.
