Delaware Valley Veterans Consortium and Collective Impact May 31, 2018 Hugo Lentze, Chairman, DVVC Chief, Strategic Partnerships Travis Manion Foundation

DVVC Mission To unite military and veteran service organizations and advocates who share common goals to build programmatic capacity and increase services to clients under the umbrella of regional collaboration.

DVVC History Formed in 2013 as Red Cross Consortium Became DVVC in mid-2015 Elections held, by-laws written in late 2015 2016: increase membership (~90 organizations) 2017: develop Mission, Vision, Goals 2018: create committees to conduct bulk of DVVC work (Programming, Membership, Tech, Marketing)

Collective Impact and DVVC Common Agenda Common Mission and Goals; not sure of common agenda Shared Measurement System Non-existent; sifting through the options Mutually Reinforcing Activities We refer contacts to each other, but in a very informal way  Continuous Communication Within Executive Committee, yes; not with membership at large Backbone Organization None, other than Executive Committee; we are not a formal 501- type organization
