Advantages of Using Online Tools 1. It is faster and easier way of gathering data because you only have to use your computer, access the internet and the specific websites where you will post your online survey.

2. It is convenient because you can do your survey inside your home, office, computer shop or anywhere where the Internet is available.

3. It saves money, time and energy 3. It saves money, time and energy. You do not need to do the printing of your survey form or pay postage or delivery to everyone concerned.

Disadvantages of Using Online Tools 1. Internet connection may not be available all the time when you need it.

2. The use of online tools is limited only to those who have access to the Internet and to those who have the skill to use it.

3. It eliminates the personal touch that you can give in a face-to-face interview with the respondents. A personal touch can make respondent feel comfortable and can make him/her freely give his/her responses as honestly as possible.
