“Whoever wants to be my disciple”

A disciple is a fully devoted follower of Jesus who reflects the mind, character, and priorities of Jesus!

“must deny themselves”

“Denying yourself” means putting aside selfish desires because you’re a new person in Christ!

“take up their cross daily”

“Taking up your cross” means carrying some commitment because you are a Christ follower!

“follow me”

“Following Jesus” means taking the same path he took – humility, sacrifice, service.

As you deny yourself and take up your cross for Christ, you’ll enjoy following Christ!
