Fine Arts Achievements Dance won more awards. Choir Concert Cafes continue at fever rate. First Annual Art Car Parade. 6 th Annual Art Exhibition & Sale is coming soon. Theater Arts Production of The Poet & The Rent. Completion of the Caja Negra. Evening With The Stars event with PTO. All-Star Cast selections for UIL One Act Competition. Sold out performances of The Wizard of Oz. Most kids ever selected for All City Band. First classes offered in Orchestra. Photography program continues to grow.
Athletic Achievements Football – We won Homecoming over Pershing! Best record with Perfect Undefeated Season. Basketball – 8th grade Zone Champs. Cross Country – 8th grade Boys City Champs Zone Runner-up Award Winners – Girls Cross Country 8, Boys Basketball 7, Girls Soccer. Boys 8 th grade Track Team won Westside HS meet. Softball team reclaims HISD Championship with 10-2 victory in championship game vs. Pershing. Baseball Team is undefeated and primed for another playoff run to the championship. 1 st season with home practices and games for girls Lacrosse.
