Choose your homework from the menu below to earn monster points: The Peri-ometer suggests the difficulty that each homework task may offer. Can you get an extra hot before the end of half term? Write a poem about Mountains, Rivers and Coasts across the World. Make it informative but catchy and remember to include key facts. Create a poster explaining why Guyana’s rivers are very important to the locals. You need to make sure your poster has lots of writing for a good explanation. Create a recount about walking up Ben Nevis, the largest mountain in the United Kingdom. Remember this would be a very hard, long walk. You can include expanded noun phrases and similes to support your work! Create a Crossword using the following key words: Everest, Snowdon, Ocean, Avalanche, Lake, Bay and Environment. Draw a picture of a river and valley you have created. Remember to include animals that live there and how they survive. There are books available in class to help you. Research how environments are formed. Present your work in a creative way. Create a fact file for the River Thames. Use the internet and books to support your research. Draw a diagram of a river and mountain and label the key features. The display in class will help you complete this. Create a Magazine article explaining how coasts are formed.
