Things aren’t always as they seem…

Sometimes it is difficult to decide what is real

Some images have been somewhat altered!

Be on the look out for images that have been altered.

Critical thinking = questioning Always ask questions about images and websites.

Website evaluation Questions to ask: Credibility Who is the author? What is the URL? (.gov or .edu are reputable sites) Is the presentation professional? Currency When was the site last updated? Consistent Do the facts agree with facts from other sources? Check against two other sources. Content What is the purpose of the site?   Is it valid information or an infomercial? Is the information free from bias?
