Click the home button when you’re finished writing! % Daily Value (% DV) There is also a column called the % DV, which helps us see what foods are a good source of nutrients and which foods are not. The % DV is generally based on a 2,000 calorie diet (the average amount of calories a 6th Grader should eat in a day) Click the home button when you’re finished writing!

Click the return button in the top right corner! FAT We need a certain amount of FAT in our diet to give us energy But eating too much saturated fat and trans fat is bad for our bodies. Which of these has good fat, and which has bad? Click the return button in the top right corner!

Our own bodies make almost enough for what we need, and if we eat too much it can lead to heart attacks and strokes. Sodium is another name for salt.
