Assessments and rotations RCS 10 2018/2019

InSight Testing Computer-Based test Takes 1 class period You will take this assessment 3 times this school year Takes a look at your abilities in order to place you at the proper level on Reading Plus and in our rotation groups Checks to see you are progressing in your reading level throughout the year

Standards Mastery Computer-Based test Takes 1 class period You will take this assessment 3 times this school year Checks to see that our whole group instruction, small group work and independent work are helping in your understanding and ability to answer FSA style questions

Grade 10 FSA Writing and Reading You will take the FSA Writing between April 1 – April 12 You will take the FSA Reading between May 1 – May 28 Takes anywhere from 120 minutes to a whole day depending on your testing accommodations

Rotations Practice Take out a piece of paper, title it and make sure your name is on it Follow your assigned letter to the part of the room you are supposed to be in when I tell you the day! When you get to each station you will write a brief reflection on the three types of assessment I just went over and your experience with each. If you remember one thing about each, you will receive candy!
