WE ARE…. Monday October 1, 2018: District Assessment You may login to a computer then wait. Read everything below. All Yellow and Blue must choose an alternate place to sit. Find a spot around the room where you see the props and an open chair. Group 4 and 6 Yellow will sit at the end of their group in the fourth spot. Group 1,2,5,6 Will place their book bags at the front of the room against the wall and all other groups against the cabinets in the back once you retrieved what you need from them. You may take your library book and/or any work you need to complete to your seat with you and nothing else. The work goes on the floor at your feet until you finish the test. When you finish the test, you will silently read or complete work until the end of the period. When you finish the test, log off, close your computer, and place it on the outside of your prop. Please keep the prop up as you read or work. Patriot Strong!

District Assessment WE ARE…. Patriot Strong! Directions for test Login to class link Find the Renaissance icon and click on it. Find the Reading Test link and click on it. *FYI* You may turn in missing work at anytime. You may only get a 50 if it is all done right, but a 50 is better than a zero. You could also get a higher grade if it is not terribly late. Ten points are taken for one day late then 10 more points every two days after until it gets to 50. This does not continue after the close of the 9 weeks. Patriot Strong!

Login to Edmodo.com Click on the Embedded Assessment assignment and begin your writing assignment Use your rubric, page 15, 37-39 to help with your writing. *If you were not here yesterday or did not finish your test, Please be prepared to move to an empty space in the room with your computer so you can complete the district assessment test.* Patriot Strong!

Friday October 5, 2018 No Bell Ringer WE ARE…. Friday October 5, 2018 No Bell Ringer Take out your I.N. and open it to page 48-49 and I will come by to check off your work. I will actually grade this next week. The check is to indicate that you have it done on time. Only complete work will be checked. If you have your “Book Promo” to hand in or present get it out now. First, I will call on you and you will let me know what type of presentation you are doing. You will turn in your presentation if it is a poster board or something on a USB hard drive when I call your name. Secondly, those who are presenting a spoken Trailer will speak their trailer. This should be spoken not read. You may use cue cards or notes. Lastly, the audience needs to be polite. Do not criticize, joke, or interrupt the presentations. You may ask relevant questions about the book if you like. Patriot Strong!
