Job Description Respiratory therapists evaluate, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders. Usually respiratory therapists help patients who have difficulty breathing. Sometimes they care for infants whose lungs are not fully developed. 

Education and Training Requirements  In order to become a Respiratory Therapist you will need an Associate of Science in Respiratory Therapist This usually takes 2-3 years
