Nuclear Sustainability PBL Day 4 Mrs. Wilson

- Continue research for your sustainability project. Objectives - For a half-life problem, calculate mass remaining, original mass, time elapsed, or half- life. - Continue research for your sustainability project. Homework: Continue research. Presentations on Tues 2- 16 and Wed 2-17. Thermo/Nuclear/sem 1 Test on Thurs 2-18 and Fri 2-19.

Today’s Agenda - Your choice: workshop as a class over half-life problems, or workshop with an individual from each group while everyone else continues work. **Half-life calculations are on the test. Questions #2, 3, 4, 5, and 10, in the Lesson 4.8b homework are good practice (see the homework answers for the answers). Answers to today’s workshop are posted online. - Continue research (COW computers are in Mrs. Moore’s room) - Project managers: make sure everyone knows where the project rubrics are; maintain bibliography; turn in Group Worklog #2 at end of class. The bibliography is due on the day of the presentation. - Everyone: turn in Individual Worklog #2 at end of class
