Cancer research doctor (oncologist) By Kaiser Kistner

Types of oncologists There are many types of oncologists. One type is a medical oncologist. These people care for cancer patients by giving them medications and immunotherapy. Another type is a surgical oncologist. These people perform surgeries such as removing tumors. There are also radiation oncologist who preform x-rays and more in the treatment of cancer. There are many more but these are the three main types of oncologists.

The salary of an oncologist Just like any other job you do get paid. The salary range for an oncologist ranges from 243,000 to 250,000.

Education or training requirements In order to become and oncologist you must go to collage and get your bachelors degree, go to medical school for at least 4 years, and you have to go to residents and internship school too.

Schools for oncologist There are many options when it comes to collage and medical schools. You could go to John Topkins School. Also, you can go to Yale School Of Medicine.

Special qualities and abilities needed to be a oncologist. First you will need a high level of compassion and an interest in cancer. You will also have to have communication skills, emotional resistance, and you also have to be able to work in a team.

Elizabeth h She is a vary well known oncologist. She has one the Nobel Prize for discoveries. She was also elected for Foreign Associate of the National Academy of Science.

My reaction I loved learning about oncologist. It was very interesting when you learn something new about a job. I will diffidently consider being an oncologist in the future.
