Were is it located? Denmark is located in Northeastern, Europe. Denmark's highest point is 570 feet above sea level. Denmark's major source of water is the North Sea. The Danish economy is made up of agriculture ,large firms that make medications ,renewable energy ,and art . Denmark's main religion of the people is Evangelical Lutheran. Were is it located?

Denmark's Flag is red with a white cross that extends to the edges of the flag ; the vertical part of the cross is shifted to the hoist side ;the banner is referred to as the Dannebrog or Danish Flag and is one of the oldest national flags in the world ; traditions as to the origin of the flag the design vary ,but the best known is the legend that the banner fell from the sky during an early – 13th century battle ; caught by a Danish king before it even touched the earth ,this heavenly talisman inspired the royal army to victory ; in actuality ,the flag may derive from a crusade banner or ensign. The shifted design element was finally, adopted by the other Nordic countries of Finland , Iceland , Norway ,and Sweden. Denmark's Flag

Activities on Christmas in Denmark

In Denmark people put up Christmas trees with flags ,ornaments , angels ,straw , candles , and a paper ornament woven into a heart . On Christmas eve they go to church early in the morning. Danes also put their wooden shoes on the fire place with candy or presents inside of them. They also count down the days till Christmas eve on a calendar with candy or presents hanging beside numbers listed 1-24.The Danish also bake a lot of cookies 4 Sundays before Christmas. They have an advent rief like Catholics but they hang them from the ceiling. Christmas in Denmark

I would visit Denmark because part of my family lives there I would visit Denmark because part of my family lives there . I have seen so many photographs, and I would like to meet my family in person. The part of my family that lives there were exchange students . After hearing a lot about my Danish family I want to see them and Denmark for myself. This is why I want to visit Denmark. Would I visit?
