How the US Impacted the War The USA joined the war in April 1917 The US used the Selective Service Act to provide fresh new troops to the Allied Powers who were weary from 3 years of warfare The US provided necessary economic support for the Allies Saved them from bankruptcy US support starts slow but ends up being a major turning point in the war
