What happens when we do not want to get involved?

Christ said whatever we do to the least of His creation we do to Him. Pope Francis updates this by saying what we do not do we also do to God.

Discuss the following situations giving reasons why you should or why you shouldn’t get involved.   It is late at night and you find a young man lying in the street outside a pub. A young woman comes up to you and says that she needs money to get the bus home. You witness an assault at a bus stop. A rude woman is being attacked because she asked someone to stop smoking. An advert online asks you to send money to help people who are starving in another country. The salvation army are collecting donations at Christmas time. You are in a car and see a motorcycle in the middle of the road; the rider is nowhere to be seen.

Using today’s lesson come up with a definition of ‘who is my neighbour’ Can we all agree and if not is that important?
