Life Lessons from Chemistry Class Mrs. Novack

Life Lessons from Chemistry Class You actually have to work to get paid (get a good grade). Your boss (teacher) will give you a deadline, and you need to meet the deadline or face the penalties. Getting the job done quickly and not putting any effort into it to do it right means you have to do it over again. The minimal time you spent to do a poor job was wasted and makes you have to do even more work in the long run.

Life Lessons from Chemistry Class If you keep messing up in your job by trying to get away with not working, or not putting any effort into your job; you will get fired (you will fail the class). If you don’t follow instructions (or actually bother to read the test questions), you will not have a good result. If you don’t understand what is being asked of you, ask for clarification … make sure you know what you are supposed to do before you start doing it. You could waste time doing the completely wrong thing. Even if you don’t like your boss (teacher), you still have to do what is asked of you.

Life Lessons from Chemistry Class If you are not paying attention when your boss (teacher) is giving you instruction about something you need to do, and you have to ask later for the instruction to be repeated just for you – you will be not be high on the promotion / favor list. Many jobs require a test to join the profession, tests to stay in the profession, and tests to make promotion decisions. Knowing how to prepare for and take a test effectively is important. Cheating is never a good idea. (Teacher will fail you, boss will fire you, spouse will divorce you).
