Children’s disability is a highly urgent problem nowadays Children’s disability is a highly urgent problem nowadays. It affects Russia dramatically as well as the rest of the world. According to statistics, there are more than 500000 disabled children under 18 registered in Russia . As you can easily see, these are the huge numbers. The number of children with disabilities increases every year due to the various factors such as: ecological problems, high injury rate, poor medicine level and so on. So that is why I thought this topic to be quite relevant in the reality of our modern world and society, thus I have chosen it as a subject of my project work. data from Rosstat

According to the Russian law, the child or the teenager under 18 is declared disabled in case of having the following signs: The child suffers from the stable body functions’ disorder. The child has some serious health problems, which limit his/her vital activity The child needs social protection.
