9/26 DO NOW: Copy Vocabulary: the name for this device is a Camera Obscura which comes from the Latin language, meaning a dark room: In days “of old” the Camera Obscura was used 3 ways… to study eclipses Copy the Notes below without the risk of damaging the eyes by looking into into the sun directly. It was also used as a drawing aid, the Camera Obscura allowed tracing the projected image to produce a highly accurate representation. It was also used for Entertainment in the Victorian Age.
