RLRTLOG New page to view Direct Loan Logged Changes. Delete or update changes before sending. Send indicator can be updated. Uncertain at this time if this replaces the Logged Changes tab on RLADLOR.

Admin change to Self Service RTVCOMP – Indicator allows you to designate billable budget components. RBIPBCT – Billable indicator on the category page. RORWTAB – Updated size of the self service tab on the Web Tab Rules page.

1920 Pell Grant Schedule Patch is included with 8.35. Schedule increased maximum Pell by $100. Updated RORPELL and RPRFEDR.

Defects fixed in 8.35/9.3.13 CR-000150024 – RLPDLUP may not update loan fee percent on a second disbursement. CR-000161809 – When declining a fall/spring loan on RPAAWRD, RLPDLOC changes RLADLOR to spring-only. CR-000135853 – RPAAWRD and RLADLOR display: ‘The borrower on the MPN must match the borrower on the loan’ and won’t allow you to navigate the page. CR-000163391 – RNINAIQ may not display accurate values. CR-000165884 – Pell may be incorrect for single term aid periods.

Defects fixed (cont) CR-000142148 - A change in PLUS borrower’s last name causing processing problems. CR-000164225 – TEACH would not create with REROR19. CR-000161561 – RNAPR19 giving errors in MEP databases. CR-000164623 – REREX19 resend option causing stuck pending status on DL change records.

Defects (cont) CR-000161725 – Award and Academic Year end dates may be incorrect when updating a loan from fall/spring/summer to fall/spring. CR-00162863 – Canceling then reinstating a smaller portion of a loan causes award start and scheduled disbursement dates to be incorrect and prevent extraction. CR-000149278 – Issues with self-service shopping sheet in PDF version when on a MEP environment.

Defects (cont) CR-000164772 – 8.34.1.1 caused a problem with some database triggers due to incorrectly updating schema from faismgr to baninst1. CR-000153643 – RERIM18 failed to load crsp18 PLUS application data and MPN data in certain cases.

Current Active Defects RPATIVC returns cents for Direct Loans. CR-000166248 REAOR19 gives an error when attempting to create a duplicate origination record from a record that is not the first record (TEACH only). CR-000166293 RPEDISB may round Pell incorrectly. Make sure that the RPROPTS Enrollment Option and Grant Enrollment Option are set to the same choice – example, Adjusted Hours. CR-000166217

The Database The database is still 8.X. Releases that change tables or jobs/processes are still Banner 8. Banner 8 releases are not always accompanied by a Banner 9 upgrade. Banner 9 releases don’t always require a Banner 8 (database) upgrade.

What is Banner 9? Banner 9 webpages replaced Banner 8 Oracle forms. Both of these are just interfaces that we use to look at the database. Banner 9 is truly a set of webpages with links to the database. Job submission changed but not in look and feel. Banner 8.35 needs 9.3.13 because new or updated Banner 9 pages (links) are included: RPRSHOP, REREX20, etc.
