ISTE Technology Standards for Teachers International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) The first ISTE technology standards focused on what teachers should know about, and be able to do with technology. Teacher ReSponsibilty As a teacher it is imperative that you include these standards in your lesson planning, keeping a checklist near you when planning is a great way to help you remember the standards and 21st Century Skills that you need to integrate into your lesson plans. Also making a yearly plan that lets you plan when you would like to cover certain standards. An example might be in April I will cover Digital Citizenship and Troubleshoot systems and applications. This plan will be your guide to help you meet every standard.
