Meet The Teacher Edition! Fact or Fiction Meet The Teacher Edition! Each slide will have 3 statements on it. Two will always be true, and one will be false. YOU have to figure out which is which. The winning team gets a vacation to Disney World. HINT: Even one of those statements to the right are false! 

Question 1 Which is False? I’ve read 40+ Star Wars books. I’ve watched all of the (new) Dr. Who series on Netflix. I’ve seen EVERY episode of Star Trek. HINT: Mr. Wanner was/is probably a pretty big geek.

Question 2 Which is False? I grew up in Red Deer, Alberta. I drive a red Jeep Cherokee. I have no brothers or sisters. HINT: I ride into Cardston with other teachers, so looking out the window won’t help. 

Question 3 Which is False? I play goalkeeper on a soccer team. Hockey is my favourite sport to watch. I’m on the UofL Pronghorns Volleyball team. HINT: I could probably be on the Olympic team for all of these things, but I’m busy teaching!

Question 4 Which is False? I have never been on an airplane. I have never been on a cruise ship. I have never been to Disneyland. HINT: I CAN say I have NOT been to Australia…sadly, mate!

Question 5 Which is False? I speak some Mandarin Chinese. I do not eat any meat. I have been to 3 countries other than Canada. FUN FACT: About 4% of Canadians are vegetarians!

Question 6 Which is False? I shook hands with Wayne Gretzky. I own an Apple Laptop (Macbook). I have played the game Minecraft. NOTE: Mr. Wanner DOES have hands, just to clarify.

Question 7 Which is False? I have a pet cat named Gilbert. I own a goldfish named General Shinyscales. I have been stung by a bee before. NOTE: I am not allergic to cats, fish, OR bees!

Question 8 Which is False? I actually enjoyed reading Shakespeare in L.A. class. For real. I’ve seen all of the Lord of the Rings movies in one night. My favourite type of music is classical. FUN FACT: The three LotR movies total 10 hours and 22 minutes of runtime.

Question 9 Which is False? I spent the summer doing neuroscience (brain) research. I own several Lego sets. My main hobby is drawing and painting. NOTE: This sticky is not very helpful right now.

Question 10 Which is False? I can both snowboard and downhill ski. If I wasn’t a math teacher, I might be a game designer. I am actually a night owl, not a morning person. THOUGHT: If you do both at once, is it Ski-boarding?
