Improvements on the Sponsored Ads Section

Provide users with initial, suggested bid to break in the TOP 100

Bid will not proceed if minimum bid is NOT met.

Notify user that there’s an existing bid placed in their ad and placing another bid will overwrite its bid and duration

Example scenario: January 25, 2013. – February 8, 2013 – User placed 60 bids/day for 30 days on advertisement ABC. The deadline of his ad’s appearance on the Sponsored Ads boxes will be on February 24, 2013. February 8, 2013 – User placed a NEW bid of 103 bids/day for 7 days on the same advertisement. The NEW deadline of his ad’s appearance in the Sponsored Ads boxes will be on February 15, 2013

Notify user that there’s an existing bid placed in their ad and placing another bid will overwrite its bid and duration AND the unused BID amount remaining in their BID duration will be added in their NEW BID. Note: User can’t refund their current bid if they are not placing a new bid. February 1, 2013 – Original bid amount placed: 20 SG/day for 7 days. Total amount: 140 SG February 3, 2013 – Placed a NEW bid: 40 SG/day for 7 days. (280 SG) Refund amount: Number of unused days X bid amount per day (4 days x 20 SG) = 80 SG New amount to be charged from user: 280 – 80 = 200 SG
