CREATE visuals for EOG terms Bellringer: Current grammar and grammar review Students will read AR books for 15 minutes. The teacher will guide students in defining EOG terms. I-Ready Bellringer: reading section Students will read AR books for 15 minutes. Students will complete I-Ready. The teacher will guide students in completing practices from the Jamestown Comprehension books using Runners. Students will read songs about the American dream and analyze the songs. Then they will compare and contrast the songs. They will complete a poetry analysis sheet for the songs to show understanding.

Things to Remember When Writing Research Essays There needs to be a thesis statement. The essay should be focused on RESEARCH and not your opinion. Do not use contractions. Do use double spacing. Do make sure to include parenthetical citations for each and every quote or paraphrase. Do not ever say in conclusion. Block quotes need to be indented.
