Upcoming tests & assignments Classroom News September 3-7 Mark your calendar * Mrs. Marston’s Second Grade ~kristy.marston@dcsms.org A peek at the week + Math: *OA=Operations & Algebraic Thinking *NBT=Numbers & Operations in Base 10 *G=Geometry  . 2.NBT.1 a & b Understand that the three digits of a three-digit number represent amounts of hundreds, tens, and ones; e.g. 706 equals 7 hundreds, 0 tens, and 6 ones. 2.NBT.2 Count within 1000; skip count by 5s, 10s, and 100s Grammar: Verbs Writing: W2.3Write narratives in which they recount a well elaborated even or short sequence of events, include details to describe actions, thoughts, and feelings, used temporal words to signal event order, and provide a sense of closure.
