Tú commands There are negative tú commands. You don’t need an acronym to remember them. These verbs will reveal themselves when you put them into the yo form of the present tense. They won’t end in –o.

Tú command Negative tú commands are dar estar ser ir saber

Tú command Negative tú commands are REMEMBER NO Dar – No des Estar – No estés Ser – No seas. Ir – No vayas. Saber – No sepas.

Other irregulars Verbs that end in –gar. Change to –gu in the yo form, then you add –es for –ar verb. Examples: Llegar→ No llegues Jugar →No juegues

Verbs that end in –car Change to –qu in the yo form, then you add –es for –ar verb. Examples: Sacar →No saques Buscar →No busques

Verbs that end in –zar Change to –c in the yo form, then you add –es for –ar verb. Examples: Empezar →No empieces Comenzar →No comiences
