Lee Harvey Oswald Oswald was a former U.S. Marine. He turned Communist and lived in the Soviet Union until June 1962. Oswald was initially arrested for the murder of police officer J. D. Tippit, who was killed on a Dallas street approximately 45 minutes after President Kennedy was shot. Oswald would later be charged with the assassination of President Kennedy as well but denied shooting anybody, claiming he was a patsy.

Oswald Timeline Oswald asked Frazier for an unusual mid-week lift back to Irving, saying he had to pick up some curtain rods. Oswald's co-worker, Charles Givens, testified to the Commission that he last saw Oswald on the 6th floor of the TSBD at approximately 11:55 a.m.—35 minutes before the assassination. The Commission report stated that Oswald was not seen again "until after the shooting.“ However, in an FBI report taken the day after the assassination, Givens said that the encounter took place at 11:30 a.m. and that he later saw Oswald reading a newspaper in the first floor domino room at 11:50 a.m. William Shelley, a foreman at the Depository, also testified that he saw Oswald on the first floor talking on the telephone between 11:45 and 11:50 a.m. Janitor Eddie Piper also testified that he spoke to Oswald on the first floor at 12:00 p.m. Another co-worker, Bonnie Ray Williams, was on the sixth floor of the Depository eating his lunch and was there until at least 12:10 p.m. However, he also said that some boxes in the southeast corner may have prevented him from seeing deep into the "sniper's nest.“

Oswald Timeline Carolyn Arnold believed was Oswald standing in the first floor hallway of the building just prior to the assassination.[ Mrs. Robert said that she saw Oswald who "was very calm" on the second floor with a Coke in his hands. At about 12:40 p.m., Oswald boarded a city bus Oswald then requested a transfer from the bus driver and got off two blocks later. Oswald took a taxicab to his rooming house, at 1026 North Beckley Avenue, arriving at about 1:00 p.m. Oswald entered through the front door and, according to his housekeeper Earlene Roberts, immediately went to his room, "walking pretty fast". Roberts looked out of the window of her house and last saw him standing at the northbound Beckley Avenue bus stop in front of her house. Approximately 1:15 p.m., Dallas Patrolman J. D. Tippit drove up in his patrol car alongside Oswald Shortly after 1:15 p.m. Tippit exited his car and was immediately struck and killed by four shots.

Oswald Captured Brewer watched Oswald continue up the street and slip into the nearby Texas Theatre without paying. He alerted the theater's ticket clerk, who telephoned police at about 1:40 p.m. At about 2 p.m., Oswald arrived at the Police Department building, where he was questioned by Detective Jim Leavelle about the shooting of Officer Tippit. When Captain J. W. Fritz heard Oswald's name, he recognized it as that of the Book Depository employee who was reported missing and was already a suspect in the assassination. Oswald was formally arraigned for the murder of Officer Tippit at 7:10 p.m. By the end of the night (shortly after 1:30 a.m.) he had been arraigned for the murder of President Kennedy as well.

Jack Ruby Jack Ruby, a local strip club owner, drove to the Western Union office to wire $25 to one of his dancers. When he left the office at 11:17 a.m., he noticed a crowd outside the nearby Dallas police station. Ruby slipped into the basement of the police building. He mingled unnoticed with a group of reporters who were there to cover the transfer of accused Kennedy assassin Lee Harvey Oswald from the city jail to the county jail, which was standard procedure before trial. At 11:21 a.m., as a handcuffed Oswald was being led to a waiting car, Ruby suddenly lunged forward and fired a single bullet into the prisoner's abdomen.

JFK Casket Switched: Navy or Air Force?

Civil Rights & Assassination There is no direct proof of a connection between JFK’s support for Civil Rights and the assassination. In fact, the assassination of JFK helped the civil rights movement because it put LBJ in the White House. JFK himself was in favor of civil rights, but he was not very effective at working with Congress to get legislation passed. On the other hand, LBJ was a master at pushing legislation through Congress. When Johnson became president, he did a lot of arm twisting and politicking in Congress and he got the legislation passed as the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Summerset Threating to kill JFK in Miami, Florida . Said it would be easy to accomplish, and was caught on tape. FBI interviewed and let him go JFK’s stop in Miami was cancelled

National Security Concerns Vietnam War JKF & Ngo Dinh Diem Both Assassinated Both were seeking to put an end to the war. JFK was shocked to learn about the assassination. The assassination was backed by the CIA, and JFK learned about this after the fact. Who gained from this? Ever hear of LBJ Construction?

JFK symbolism of the CIA Bay of Pigs Bay of Pigs was planned by the Eisenhower Administration with the CIA. Kennedy followed the plans in place for the attempted. At the last minute, JFK called off US Air Force support, and the revolt failed. JFK took the blame publically, but resented the CIA for the overall failure. To Congress, President Kennedy vowed "to splinter the CIA into a thousand pieces, and scatter it to the winds.“ The CIA also ignored several of JFK’s executive orders JFK symbolism of the CIA

So if it was not Oswald, than who was responsible for the assassinations? Do you still believe that Oswald was the lone assassin who killed Kennedy? Do you buy into the conspiracy? Though much of the evidence has been destroyed over the years, and more than 74 people who knew about the conspiracy have been murdered to keep them silent, the evidence that still remains is overwhelming.

2026 Congress originally established a release date for the JFK files for 2017. Congress has since moved it to 2026 Why? Could it be because some of the people involved are still alive?

You would probably never believe who did it! Conspiracy believers see the evidence pointing to: Bush Sr. (CIA) Planning Nixon (CIA) Planning Johnson (VP) Planning Italian Mafia (Black Dog Man, White objects in 6th Floor Textbook Depository, and Jack Ruby) Carried Out Oswald was only the fall person. After all, when a tragic event occurs it builds public confidence to be able to point the finger at one person. Quotes & Circumstantial evidence Richard Nixon – “never flatly said who was responsible [for Kennedy’s death]. But he would say, ‘Both Johnson and I wanted to be president, but the only difference was I wouldn’t kill for it.” LBJ told both his mistress and his ex-wife about the assassination, the night before Kennedy was killed. Jackie Kennedy– “that it's very clear to her that others were involved; including President Lyndon Johnson.” Robert F Kennedy said to Johnson – "Why did you have my brother killed? And that “One of your guys did it.”

If JFK, why not Robert Kennedy too? If you believe that the CIA killed JFK then who is to say that the CIA did not kill Robert too? Same players involved, same issue aka political opposition With Robert gone, Nixon was able to win the 1968 election.

What Are The Implications? We are taught to trust information from government or .gov sites. However, if the government killed JFK then what can we truly believe and know about our history?
