Decimal Word Problems Task

Task Card 1 Go to this website and look at the word problem examples provided. http://www.mathgoodies.com/lessons/decimals_part2/solve_more_problems.html Then, at the bottom, you and your partner solve the 5 problems and then check your answers.

Task Card 2 You and your partner will construct (Level 4) 2 word problems. One will involve decimal multiplication and the other will involve decimal division. You will do this on construction paper, and you will show all work needed to correctly solve each problem. Then, you will write (on a notecard) a brief paragraph for each problem, explaining how to solve it. You and your partner will present your problems to the class, by reading your notecards & showing your work on your construction paper. If you have time, add visuals to your problems.
