Cost of equipment The average price of an establishment is around $200,000 for a building to turn into a restaurant or you could pay around $275,000 for a straight up restaurant. The cost of knives and forks and other kitchen utensils is around $30,000.

Annual salary The annual salary for a professional chef is around $24,400 if you work very low quality at most you can make around $806,611 yearly if you are lucky.

Education requirements The least amount of education needed to be a professional chef is a high school diploma if you don’t feel like getting paid well but if you like money then you could go to college for 2-4 years and get a very high salary.

What colleges offer this field of business One college that struck my interest is YTI Culinary Arts School. This college is in Pennsylvania surprisingly because most culinary arts schools are in France or bigger. city's. This school is a career institute not a culinary school.

What Jobs are in this field This field offers jobs such as Sou Chef, Head Chef, and Executive Chef. The head chef is what I would like to be because they are in charge of the entire kitchen but still get to cook and get to control what everybody else is doing.

Someone well known A well known head chef is Gordon Ramsey. He has several T.V shows such as Kitchen Nightmares and Hell’s Kitchen.

reaction My reaction to my research is I probably want this job more because of the salary.
