SOLAR SYSTEM 4 C’s Mind Map for CLIL unit CONTENT COGNITION Name of planets Children will learn which planets are big which are small Recognize planet or star Associate with colors Emotions Words connected with Solar System COGNITION put planets in order from the Sun Children are able to remember all planets, colours, their size and their order from the sun THEME SOLAR SYSTEM CULTURE Children are too small for learning things connected with culture For the older children: referrers to the Ancient Culture of Romans COMMUNICATION OF L Teacher explains grammatical structure I AM and all introduce planets and words connected with solar system and emotions THROUGH L introduce new vocabulary based on book HIGHER HIGHER. These words are not connected with Solar System but they are very useful (house, Giraffe, rocket, plane, climber) FOR L Make a presentation of the selected planet, use „I am”, name of planets, colors, size and emotion
