Scrub Daddy Reuben Verdouw 3/20/15

What is it? Scrub Daddy is a cleaning product that changes firmness depending on the temperature of the water applied in order to tackle any cleaning task that you can think of around the house. This superb versatility has it being a much desired product and is currently sold in thousands of retail outlets across the United States.

Intended International Market I am bringing this product to Australia Australia is a first-world, developed nation with the large majority of its population being homeowners, allowing for there to be a large market for this product.

Tangible Factors Soft in warm water for gentle cleansing Firm in cool water for coarse scrubbing Rinses clean and doesn’t cling to debris Smile cleans both sides of spoons Eyes serve as finger-holes for better grip

Intangible Factors Scrub Daddy can outlast many ordinary sponges with correct use and proper care Company does not have explicit warranties, but individual retailers may offer warrantties $3.48 at WalMart; $3.69 at Home Depot; $3.99 at Bed Bath & Beyond

Expansion Strategy Design one product for a global marketplace We will use the same product all over the globe This is a solid product and no changes are necessary for global expansion The only thing that will change is the name The name will be translated into the language of the country in which it will be sold

Product Positioning Approach A high quality sponge for high quality people

Grey Market Version Scrub Mummy (Mommy) This will also be sold in Australia but will be half the price, but will be just a normal sponge but in a sad face and its will be red, not yellow It will not have the special features of Scrub Daddy such as changing its firmness

Product Package This product will be sold in one of those packages with the cardboard back which the product sits on and then it is covered by plastic.
