Vocabulary SLO 2/13, 3/6, 3/20

Purpose Academic vocabulary, used well in writing, will help you convince your audience of your point of view, prepare for the SATs, and generally raise the quality of your writing because you will not need to rely on colloquial or cliché words.

Assessment Your assessment will include the words for each test in a multiple choice, matching, fill in the blank test that requires you to know the definition, part of speech, synonyms and antonyms of each word.
