Monday Bell Ringer: Get Book: Skim over the first part of chapter 5 (pg 63). Think about how you would want to see this chapter on the main screen. What would you change? Leave out? Keep the same?

Monday Agenda: Bell Ringer Finish chapter 5 SG Questions Chapter 6 Visual of Heaven

As I finish reading chapter 5: Answer the study guide questions Predict what will happen next.

As You Read Chapter 6: Get with a partner and read to each other Answer the study guide questions. Add to the character chart/plot chart Make notes of any description of heaven that Susie creates Needs: Writing Utensil Post-Its The Lovely Bones Book Study Guide/Character guide

Tuesday Bell Ringer: Detective Fenerman goes to question Mr. Harvey twice. What clues does he miss? What comments/behaviors does Mr. Harvey use to throw the detective off track? After Reading Chapter 6: Creating Heaven: On a white sheet of paper: Create a visual representation of Susie’s afterlife. Use the magazines, markers, etc. If you need something specific and can’t find it in a mag, write it on the board. I will print it if no-one else can find it On the back, give a short explanation of the representation Include quotes from the book to support your representation Include as many elements as you can from the book. Grade will come from the elements you choose, explanation you create, and neatness/creativity of the design. Due tomorrow before class is over. You will have today and tomorrow.

Wednesday: Finish your representation of heaven. When finished, work on chapter 6 study guide. Begin reading chapter 7 & 8: DUE FRIDAY There will be a reading quiz Friday over chapter 7 & 8!
