Working with Data – Importance of Continuity Format Painter Go To, Go To Special Find/Replace Freeze Panes New Window CTRL + Home, CTRL + End, CTRL + , CTRL + Remove Duplicates Sorting Filtering Data from Text Conditional Formatting When analyzing data it’s important that it’s in the same layout and formatted similarly. For example dates should be formatted the same, and numbers should be formatted similarly. Go To & Go To Special can be very helpful to find things quickly. Find & Replace can be useful to quickly fix mistakes or change data. Freeze Panes allows data to be easily viewed. It’s often helpful to freeze your column headers. New Window allows you to view the same workbook side by side. Ctrl Home takes you to the beginning of the spreadsheet, Ctrl End takes you to the end of the spreadsheet.
