LA Morning Work What is the TEXT Structure? Before people knew about germs, they thought that sickness was a punishment for their sins. Early scientists knew this was not true. How could they prove it? They did experiments. They gathered information about the spread of illness. Finally, they were able to solve the mystery of how diseases spread. Multiple Meaning Words/Shades of Meaning Before there were toothbrushes, people used twigs to clean their teeth. These twigs came from a flexible type of tree. Which sentence uses the word type the same way it used in the sentence above? A. I need to type my book report B. This book is written in very small type C. This type of animal can run very fast D.
