Unpacking the Prompt This is a crucial step when it comes to any type of writing prompt; specifically for our PMA’s Remember, you should always read the Passage set title and the unpack the prompt before you read any sources Remember TAP and CUB (think of a tap dancing bear

Now you try with your team With your team, use the TAP and CUB method to figure out the elements of the writing prompt Be prepared to share with the class your findings

Write the following prompt on the top of your paper and use the TAP and CUB method to figure out what you will be writing about. Write an explanatory essay on how incidents of cyberbullying can decrease. Use evidence from the text to support your response.

Your Task Now that you have unpacked the prompt, you will be reading a NEWSELA article on cyberbullying. Try to find the central idea and be able to pull out evidence that you find in the article to support your response. When you have finished reading, you will make a PEE organizer PURPOSE EVIDENCE ELABORATION
