Sample concluding paragraph In summary, the death penalty should be abolished for many reasons. First, the death penalty can take and has taken many innocent lives. Second, the death penalty costs more than incarceration for life. Finally, the death penalty fails to give the offender a chance for rehabilitation or a change of heart. People should protest and get petitions signed in order get the United States to create an amendment or doctrine that abolishes the use of the death penalty anywhere in the United States.
