Thank you for having me here today. The purpose of my visit is to more about Web tools 2.0. and how to use them in your learning. Before that, I would like you to complete page 1, the pre-test. What are Web 2.0 Tools? “Web 2.0 refers to the use of the Internet for interpersonal content sharing and online service delivery.”

What is a difference between Web 1.0 and 2.0 Tools? Web 1.0 consisted of a few content creators who targeted majority of users simply acting as consumers of content. Web 2.0 allows any participant to be a content creator who has numerous technological aids available for his or her production.

There are over thousands of Web 2. 0 tools available online There are over thousands of Web 2.0 tools available online. You don’t have to be a technically advanced or have the newest technology to use them. All of the tools are online and do not need to download them to your personal computerized device.

[ PHOTOBUCKET ] Photobucket- a free tool where you can download your own photo, edit them and share.

[ ANIMOTO ] Similarly animoto allows you to create for free a 30 second video. You can use your own images, video or already used templates. Here is a video, I created from my field trip to the San Juan Capistrano Mission in California.

[ VOKI] Voki, particular AVAR is my favorite tool. You can personalize your avatar and record or type messages you want to share with your audience.

Web 2.0 Tools Community Community tools are less creative than previous ones; however, they enables us to share our work with other by cooperation.

[ TAG] Tagging, a new way of scanning codes with your smart phone and accessing web site of the product. You can find it even on a bubble gum and was invented by the Toyota Auto maker in late 90s

[ GOOGLE DOC] Goggle Documents allows many sued write and edit document online. I observe one class that was creating group project on country. Each group member was responsible for one county to analyze.
