Equality and diversity Task 1 – timed paired activity – ten minutes Research the Equality Act, with a focus on: The year of the Act. Definition of equality. The nine protected characteristics. Task 2 – paired activity Discuss and come up with examples of when equality of opportunity may relate to the role of a group trainer, and the appropriate action to be taken.
