The third is the Toyotomi Toyotomi Hideyoshi a upstart clan that was originally a farmer who (allegedly) after bringing the head of the daimyo of the Imagawa was made sandal barrer, and then eventually became shogun after defeating the betrayer Akechi Mitsuhide, and would invade Korea but would only leave a Three year old heir so another war would happen.
Religion Christianity was being adopted during this time by many Japanese around Kyushu, and many nobles began either adopting the teachings or promoting them. Example of this was that Oda Nobunaga’s son converted to Christianity, and Nobunaga was believe to secretly practice it, and Hideyoshi gave written laws to protect christians. Also a new sect of Buddhism was created called the Ikko Ikki sect a warlike sect that believed that the people are there own rulers and that no power is given to man but to live and die, they will be annihilated after getting involved in politics and going against the Oda.
Relationships during this period It was common place to have more than one wife, and to have several concubines due to the constant need for a male son to fight in the wars, and the issue of succession after the leader dies to come into factor. Also the act of homosexuality was another thing that was common during this time due to a sort of bond that is created between warriors an example is Mori ranmaru and Oda Nobunaga.
