Introductions - Myself Dr. Rusty Bartels – Rusty, Dr. or Professor Rusty, Dr. or Professor Bartels Pronouns: He/him/his PhD in Cultural Studies, Designated Emphasis Writing, Rhetoric, & Composition Studies from UC Davis Varied scholarly interests – currently finishing a book on WWII National Parks in Pacific World; next I’m thinking about questions pertaining to disability/accessibility in the composition classroom, as well as queer food writing Transparent about pedagogy in classroom – will discuss why I’m doing what I’m doing Endeavor to make space for student experiences and interests
