Rachel’s Challenge W.O.W: Equality 1.)    What do you think causes some people to think of other people as unequal? 2.)    Why is equality important? 3.) Does inequality exist at CHS? Explain.

Shift in tenses Please correct the following shift changes. Some sentences may be correct. 1. The instructor explains the diagram to students who asked questions during the lecture. 2. About noon the sky darkened, a breeze sprang up, and a low rumble announces the approaching storm. 3. Yesterday we walk to school but later rode the bus home. 4. Tomorrow we will ran to the store and bought some chicken. 5. The children love their new treehouse which they built themselves. 6. Before they begin deliberations, the jury members had decided the verdict. 7. During the movie, Sam stood up and then drops his popcorn.

Objectives 1. Fix sentences with unnecessary shifts in tenses with 90 percent accuracy or better. 2. Construct an MLA formatted research paper on a history based topic 3. Utilize Google documents for “sharing” purposes in regards to typing/research

In-text citations Remember your in-text citations as you are typing. Example: According to Mr. Fielder, there are “tork gooboos of puzzballs.” (6) There are “tork gooboos of puzzballs” (Fielder 6). Parshtootoos are complex puzzballs to bartle (“How to Bartle Puzzballs”).
